Founder/President Jacob (Jake) DeLong. When it comes to Veterans and their mental and emotional wellbeing, Jake DeLong wears his ‘heart on his sleeve’. He is a decorated combat veteran who served with the 1st Armored Division in Germany and then at the height of the troubles, in Iraq.  DeLong is passionate about his founding, “Vets 4 Huntn & Fishn,” and the good works it does to help vets in distress. “We’ve lost two more good men from my unit to suicide in the past 6 months,” says DeLong. “To those of us who survived the trauma relatively unscathed we feel obligated and proud to keep serving our buddies. With help from our donors, “Vets 4 Huntn & Fishn“ is providing a sense of belonging and outdoor pursuits that include, hunting, fishing, trail riding and hiking. Born and raised in Northern California in the tiny town of Clear Creek, DeLong attended nearby Westwood High School and joined the Army in 2004 straight after graduation. After completing Basic Training in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was posted to Germany for 15 months before landing in Iraq for his final tour of duty. Upon his return to the US in 2007 he attended Mojave Community College on the GI Bill before transferring to Arizona State where he graduated with a B.S. in Justice Studies He is married with four children and calls Missouri home.

Dominick "Dom" Mohameds has cut his teeth in the California Waterfowl game. Residing near the World famous, California Delta, Dom spends most of his off time hunting and fishing with Veterans, friends and family. Dom served in the US Army Reserves from 2008-2017 with the 801st ENG.

Christopher " Chris" Clemmens served in the US Army as a 19Kilo with multiple deployments to the Middle East. Chris is a decorated Combat Veteran & Purple Heart recipient during his service. Chris now resides in Georgia and continues serving his community by helping fellow Veterans get re-introduce into society and create healthy habits by utilizing outdoor recreational therapy.

Steve Morgan is a multifaceted individual whose life has been defined by bravery, skill, and a deep connection to nature. Born and raised in the heart of America, Steve found his calling early on, enlisting in the US Air Force to serve his country with distinction. Throughout his military career, he demonstrated unwavering courage and dedication, earning accolades as a combat veteran.

After his honorable discharge, Steve found solace and purpose in the great outdoors. With a bow in hand, he discovered a profound passion for big game archery hunting. His expertise in the field is unparalleled, with a keen eye, steady hand, and deep respect for the natural world. Whether tracking through rugged terrain or patiently awaiting his prey, Steve embodies the essence of a true hunter.

Beyond his love for hunting, Steve's heart beats for his fellow veterans. Recognizing the challenges many face upon returning home, he has dedicated himself to supporting and empowering his comrades. Through various initiatives and outreach programs, he offers guidance, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging to those who have served.

Steve's life is a testament to resilience, courage, and service. Whether roaming the wilderness in pursuit of game or extending a helping hand to his fellow veterans, he exemplifies the virtues of honor, integrity, and compassion. In every endeavor, he continues to inspire those around him with his unwavering spirit and unwavering commitment to making a difference..
